Boy I sure miss those days when I could find insulators closer by my home and didn't even have to pay for them. That is unless I was arrested. I traveled over three hundred miles this past weekend searching for new finds. This amber swirled CD 162 Brookfield / New York is all I cam up with from an antique store I've not visited in the past. Was it worth the price of $8 I paid for the insulator when I consider I paid $3.89 per gallon of glass? That's hard to say in the present for me. I do pick up lots of leads. Who knows what will pan out of those. It's also good to re-establish old contacts in my opinion. One never knows what they may lead to. Am I right Guys? |
