The Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines used these to transpose wires without using a transposition style insulator. I imagine other railroads did likewise. The PRSLs use of this arrangement always puzzled me, because we used to find our fair share of CD 202 Locke 14s in use along the line. Anyhow, if you want it, it's yours for $5 plus shipping.
