For years, I would watch this double circuit of Westinghouse M-3172's, as it flashed past the windows of the BART train. Finally, one day, I decided to stop and get a couple pics. This line snakes through El Cerrito, California for about a mile, and judging from the size of the insulators, and the fact that it uses 3 disks on each dead-end string, I suspect that it was originally built to carry 24kv. Mike Parker theorizes that it once connected the large, main substation, to a smaller distribution sub. If so, that distribution sub was wrecked-out long ago, back in the late 60's, to make way for the new BART station.

In this first shot, you can see the line of M-3172's, as it comes up Norvell Street. The main substation, from which this line originates, is just behind the row of trees in the distance. In fact, using "View Original", it is possible to see one of the 115kv towers, just to the left. Also note the new, residential transformer on the third pole. Mike Parker has pointed to this as proof that the line has been downgraded to standard 12kv.
