Santa Ana, CA, Lapp Fog Type Suspensions, 1973

Although they may be hard to see in detail on your screen, these indeed are those really heavy Lapp 10-inch-diameter fogger suspensions doing their job on a line in Santa Ana nearly 40 years ago. Those I have seen were dark brownish in color or in nice shades of mahogany. They were a common item for Southern California Edison and other electric utilities in the LA vicinity and zillions still remain in service to this day.
