Also there is some telephone open-wire along the right and an incandescent acorn street light up in the extreme left upper corner of this image. The old-time methods of line construction viewed here are truly fascinating! The best part of the story is that a lot of what you see here basically remains similar to this day in LA Basin communities especially in Public Power cities and towns such as Burbank, Pasadena, Glendale, etc. in addition to Los Angeles.
