My street used to be the main road out of town before the nearby highway was put in. There's evidence that a large telephone line ran along it. I've found 2 insulators (a CD 145 Brookfield and a CD 113 Hemi with prisim lettering) along it in the past. Since the temps were in the 70's i decided to search the route again (a simple walk from my house). This photo shows a stub of one of the poles next to a drainage ditch.
