These two made my entire day! I had found numerous broken CD 162.5 examples on this hunt and the CD 134 Brookfield was an unexpected surprise. The CD 134's stress crack shows no external damage which makes me wonder if it's heat variation from new or a lightening strike while on it's wooden perch. Regardless, it's a keeper. All of the insulators in this series of my photos from this hunt were GROUND finds. My picker is almost always in the car but hasn't been called upon in a while. The lines were PRR and Erie and the variety of glass has proven to be a reason to return to this area of Erie County, Pennsylvania.
