Rare CD 287.1 Locke in red amber. Really a fantastic colored piece. Unfortunately, it looks like the lineman screwed this on a little too tight on the pin, and caused a T shaped bruise from the middle skirt into the lower wire groove. The bruise starts behind the R in Victor and extends one inch up to the wire groove, where it splits and extends one inch left and one inch right. The bruise is circled in black in the picture on the right. Other than that, it has some roughness at the base of the threads and a 1/4 of an inch wire groove flake on the right wire groove. It is really hard to see the bruise when the piece is displayed from the front. A great example until an upgrade becomes available. Asking $1500 and I'll cover shipping and insurance. I'm open to trades for insulators, coins, or vintage metal lunchboxes. |
