Red paint that is! This is one of those metal jacket over composition insulators. This one came out of a factory in Westfield, MA probably 25 or 30 years ago. This is just the way it was found. It is marked G. E. Co. It is in very good condition. $40 will get it delivered Priority Mail anywhere in the U.S.
