Hanover Juction, PA, 1863, Sidepin Threadless Pole

In the original photo the wires can just barely be seen in this Civil War era image. The sidepins appear to be of the heavy block type and the insulators mounted almost vertically upon them. Also, the insulators look like they are pretty dark in color. One wonders what type they were ;-)
