Hemingray D - 518 Flashed amber spools located near the end of my driveway . I counted about a dozen amber spools located within a block of my home, but no where else in the area... All the other areas have been upgraded locally . I know there would be more elsewhere in the city, but mainly in the older neighberhoods that use secondary lines like these. Two 110 volts and a neutral middle line. These were constructed for residential only. I posted this Picture a few years ago ....Note the long pyrex lightning arrestor and the squirrel guards, along with the amber spools.....A classic combination that I've never seen anywhere else in the last few decades. MY BEST DISPLAY OF INSULATORS! Even if I don't own them, just outside my door...Well this is now gone as of 6/22/2012 due to the transformer blowing up and the lineman taking the goodies except one spool in clear and amber and one lightning arrestor. Those went into my collection. We split the booty.
