Snapped these photos on a recent camping trip to the Elwah valley in the Olympic National Park. This line comes from the Elwah dam, which is currently being dismantled and removed. The lack of snow accumulating on the wires tells me there's a load on this line causing heat to be generated in the conductors.

Pretty sure those are blue JD discs under the snow.
