Dayton, Ohio is a land that time forgot. These electric bus lines still stand today. I haven't seen an electric one used in a few years. Ice was finally starting to melt from the lines. There is a mixed bag of clear CD 257 Mickeys, Hemi-62 and Hemi-660 types scattered among more modern porcelain. If you go deeper into the neighborhoods, you start seeing aquas in the Mickeys and I did see once a few years back, CD 259 helmets on one pole. Don't know if they are still there but it is evidence this line used to be for a tracked trolley. |
