This thing is a odd type of power pole pin in that it is used on poles where the power line has to make a sharp turn or bend in the power line. Such as with most common power lines a power line when it comes up to a sharp turn it would have a deadend cross arm with suspensions that would dead end the line and the line would then tie into another dead end crossarm on the other side of it to go though the sharp turn. But that is not the case in what this crossarm turn pin. Such as on the older 40 to 50 year old lines with these on them a power line will keep traveling though the sharp 45 degree bend in the line and instead of dead ending it will go though a set of these pins mounted on a crossarm and it will bend into the angel of the steel pin and keep traveling on down the line. But these turn pins are quickly becoming a thing of the past in that when the poles these things are on are replaced they are replaced by a dead end crossarm with rubber chickens on it.

So for this odd 40 year old Steel Turn Pin $16 and that has Free Shipping added to it.
