For fun, I decided to submit the Alana MacFarlane picture [id=258143791] to TinEye.com to see how widely it was distributed. I tried pasting Bill's URL into their search page, but that did not work.

So, I right-clicked on Alana's picture and saved a copy of it to a temporary folder. Then I uploaded that image to TinEye.com. It promptly found copies of the picture, at different resolutions, on five different Web sites. This is a screen shot of the results.

Note that this tool also finds pictures that are embedded in a larger picture. In other words, you can frequently find the original picture if you have a smaller fragment of the original.

Keep this in mind in case you ever need a tool to find a hijacked picture on the Web, for example.
