This is a great looking Brookfield that is really dark olive green and unless you put a light to it, some folks believe it's black until they pick it up and look at it. Behind the "B" area there's a "thingee" in there that's about a quarter of an inch long; and, then there's one of those long net-like "thingee" that's like a piece of lace...and runs the length of the skirt. It's such a dark colored insulator, you have to put light on it to see either of these objects. Several bubbles and sparkle-like snow in the skirt area, as well. Some mold marks that are winding around the skirt and into the wire ridge, which makes it look roughened up, but it's just mold markings. It's in excellent shape and the only, insignificant damage is slight rub marks up on the dome that probably came from other insulators rubbing against this piece of glass. I'd like to offer it for $18 plus postage, and if you want other photos, ask away. |
