At a local architectural salvage company I recently saw these repurposed insulators. I thought they might be look better with the small halogen bulbs than the larger incadescent bulbs they a fitted with. Drilling the hole through the dome of the insulator must be the most difficult part of of the operation. At $95.00 each, I think I've got a small fortune sitting in dusty boxes out in the barn!
