The fog of. . .old age has lifted ever so slightly. . tonight. . so am going to try to post a picture with the CORRECT description. . .

Many years ago. . .at least 25. . .I was taking a road trip. . .while in Utah. . .I noticed a carrier line that was in complete disrepair from the road. . .feeling lucky . . .I stopped and followed the line for a while. . .well. . .in a pile of brush. . found this little guy. . .yea . . just a Case Span Bracket. . .but not the type you would find attached to a cross arm. . this is the type that is (was) used mid-span. . between the poles! Remembering these as a kid. . just floating in the air. . .was SO cool to actually find one!

Well . . .skip forward some years. . .and this little guy has finally found the light of day again. . after being in a box in my attic since before my son was born in 1979. . .

Sometimes. . .the best finds. . .are at home!
