This build was originally built in 1912 for the Piedmont & Northern Electric Railway as a train house and service yard. Over the years its roof was refinished with ugly sheet metal. The original roof was with orange terracotta tiles. That would have looked nice! The building also had a transformer house in the rear with electricity from the Southern Power Company.
