These two spools are shown next to a Surge for size comparison only, the Surge was not found with them.

These spools were removed off of the residence of the first operating telephone installation in Tacoma, Washington. The phone number of the residence was "Tacoma 1". These were found on the side of the house by retired lineman Sheldon Herron who personally removed them years ago in the 1960's.
