Yes, we have another one. Similar but different. This is a CD 145 "B - 44" with an obviously off centre dome and pin hole. This insulator is slightly 2 tone, showing some green up the right side of the pinhole. It also has some other unusual features, such as the split in the base. It is a gap, likely caused in the cooling process. There is another very small split in the extended upper lip of the wire groove, there are 2 flat spots where the insulator touched others, or were picked up while still too hot, plus a couple of irregular holes in the skirt surface and in the upper wire groove lip. On top of all that, the pin hole is curved. I don't know how this can happen, but there is is. Price is $50- plus shipping Refunds for any reason, you pay to return. |
