Here are a couple of 'leaner poles"! The telephone cable had such a huge pull on it that they had to set the anchor pole the same way I guess. Odd because the power line continued on straight. The one drawback to this alignment was that the area was constantly pounded by rain and windstorms during the winter. Many a lineman has cursed this area going way back to Coast Power times, I am sure. The cables are now off the poles and P.U.D. is about to remove them, except for 1 on this alignment and 2 on the other route.
