I am trying to learn more about this small creamy tan coloured porcelain insulator. The colour is accurately represented. Not shown in the picture is the really crudely finished porcelain surface. The glaze has covered up a number of rough and uneven patches, and despite numerous shots, I could not get any of them to become more obvious in the pictures.

This insulator has the typically smaller British style pin hole, found on many insulators used in Uruguay. As you can see, it is slightly smaller and shorter than the "backward C" Can Pac 143 used for size comparison purposes. The insulator has a very shallow and poorly defined top groove with a depth of no more than 1/8 inch. There is also a short inner skirt.

My limited knowledge suggests this is from between the 1930's to early 1950's, and I strongly suspect it is made in Uruguay, as opposed to manufactured in Europe, as were many / most of the '30's to early '50's insulators used in Uruguay.

Do you have an insulator like this, or can you provide any insight as to the manufacturer of this insulator ?. Were there any porcelain insulator manufacturers of note in Uruguay during the period in question? Would greatly appreciate your thoughts and comments.
