Here Tacoma Power is replacing 3 poles with just one. I figured they'd be changing these out soon, the original poles are pretty weathered. I talked to one of the guys the other day and he said they're changing poles and reconductoring all the way to the main Gig Harbor substation, the one I'm fed from. Further down from here the wires are the original copper, rated for 300 Amps, 600 Amps Emergency.

10/11 They've left the line with one phase still on the old pole. The new pole has guy wires going to 3 spots though, so it seems they'll eventually move it over to the new one. This circuit is now the one that is energized while they work on the other line up to this point.
