The taps from each circuit meet at this pole before they head to the substation a few miles away. This switch is radio controlled from Peninsula Light's HQ. It's been open recently due to a construction project near the sub that required moving the transmission line. This meant all the surrounding distribution circuits had to take the load, including Fox Island, that otherwise would have been on the sub.
