This time I have the SILVERTOWN with two similar styled insulators. While similar, there are definite differences in shape. Click on View Original for greater detail The piece on the left is made by Hescho, and bears the tri-delta marking. My friend in Uruguay refers to it as the Pinetree. Immediately below the tri-delta is the letter "M", indicating the facility where it was made, and below the "M" is JS616 The insulator on the right is marked on the crown front just above the soot mark, " FCO ", Ferro Caril Oest, or Railway of the West. I have found no other markings on this insulator, and have no idea of the manufacturer. If anyone has knowledge of who made either the Silvertown or the FCO marked insulator, please share your knowledge with us on ICON. A personal email would be appreciated as well. |
