I've had this sign for quite a while. I believe it is of Polish dialect. When immigrants came to this country after WW II, this sign was posted in the work place for obvious reasons. On the bottom right is "Serial No. 125" and on the bottom left is A. S. & W. CO. [American Steel & Wire Company] The sign is ink stamped under the glaze on the back side "VERIBRITE SIGN-CHICAGO" The back side is tan or lite brown porcelain glaze.
