Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous Hudson Bay Railway CD 145. These pieces are thought to have been made as late as the 1920s-1930s for use along the Hudson Bay Railway which ran north to the very north end of Manitoba, terminating at Churchill. These pieces have only ever been used along this one line in any significant numbers. Most H.B.R. 145s were removed from use along the line for their collectible nature more than 20 years ago now, and it is unlikely that many remain in use along the line today. This example is in a shining light aqua colour, and it looks as though there may be a faint "G.T.P." blotout behind the embossing. There are a few circular machining marks on the rear crown, and straw marks covering the piece.

The only damage to speak of on this piece consists of a few small pings on the rear. The largest is approximately 2mm wide, and is on the rear crown. Two 1mm fleabites can be found on the rear skirt, and one small scratch is visible on the rear upper wire ridge, with an associated 3mm wide very small flake off the upper ridge of the wire groove. All in all, this is an excellent condition piece.

I am asking $13.00 U.S. plus shipping for this example of a none-too-commonly seen Canadian insulator. I accept PayPal, or any kind of personal or cashier's cheque, or money orders. Please feel free to take a look through my other insulators under the "For sale (not sold)" directory, and combine items to save on shipping. I always package well, and have never had an insulator arrive broken. All the best!
