I made the middle section of our clothes line look like a cross arm, i made the "pins" out of cotton wood branches that i screwed the insulators onto, then i ground the head off of nails so both ends were sharp and drove one end into the arm and pounded the insulators with the cotton wood pins in them onto the nails sticking out note the rain gauge my dad put up their later :P
