Here is a CD 106 no-name Lynchburg. It's a Lynchburg but the embossing looks to be blotted out. You can read the writing if you look at it carefully by using the light to reflect off the glass. I believe this might be made by some other company other than Lynchburg after they went out of business. The insulator is well formed and if it was produced normally the type and the "l" the oval should be very readable. It looks like somebody might have acquired the mold after Lynchburg went broke and then tried to blot out the embossing. They did a rather poor job though and you can see the word Lynchburg just barely there as well as a very weak weak embossed logo. On the other side the embossing is basically normal you can read it fairly easily. This is why I think the front side was deliberately modified to try and erase the name.. The color is a bit different for Lynchburg as well its blue aqua with a hint of gray. Condition a couple of little pecks on the dome, overall it's an excellent condition clean and shiny. It has sharp drips and none of them are chipped or nicked. Price? $15 postpaid.

I will be adding more insulators with pictures like this to illustrate what can be done using my book - "How to Take Great Digital Pictures" which can be purchased from me for $20 postpaid. The photos you will be looking at were made using my system of photographing insulators and took me about 15 minutes each to produce. You can take photos like this as well with my system. They work great on eBay and its this insulator doesn't sell that's where it will be headed. Thanks for looking - Bob Alexander
