CD 134 [040] American embossed on the base AM. INS. CO. PATD SEPT 13. '81 with 2 glass dots. I've seen larger seed bubbles in later production pieces out of New England, specifically N.E.G.M. CO. I know of Pennycuicks and CD 145 American beehives with mico fizz bubbles. I am not aware of too many early pieces other than the early Hemingray CD 132 bullets that have larger seed bubbles like this. This is the only CD in an American I have seen these in. My last recollection of one of these for sale was in late 2004 and I only remember that because it was when my daughter was born and I remember it priced for several months worth of diapers. There are a few small chips along the upper wire groove ridge which is typical on CD 134 Americans. The rest is nice shiny glass and otherwise mint except for the wire ridge nibbles. The nice thing about base embossed pieces is you can turn them any way you want to display them. Super character seldom offered. Offered this evening for $226.66 shipped. First email. |
