CD 145 [020] blue American beehive with an olive green swoosh that goes from the dome down to the petticoat skirt. Embossed AM. INSULATOR CO. N.Y. DOUBLE PETTICOAT / PAT'D SEPT 13, 1881, NOV. 13, 1883, FEB 12, 1884. with an XI on the top. I have seen a number of these blue American beehives over the years but any with an impurity like this are few and far between. There is a bubble in the skirt on the opposite side that is the size of a large pea. I would call this a dead on Mint / VVVNM as made piece with the typical slightly out of round crude base found on American beehives. Absolutely nothing to complain about on this one. Sure to please.
