When I asked the antique shop owner if he had any insulators, he said besides the scattered insulators around the store, he could show me a few hundred of insulators he had in storage. He told me he bought these off of an elderly collector who was active in the 60's and 70's and then just kept em in storage without ever placing em on the sales floor. He mentioned that a few other collectors had seen the stash and taken a few pieces (I wonder what they were?), but not many.
