Finally, after 4 years I have been able to get my hands on one of these! I saw bunches of em while I visited Japan but never could get any. I think that this is possibly a Koransha made piece, but the ink stamping is different from the other Koranshas I have seen. These orange stripe insulators are extremely HARD to procure regardless of style or company name because eBay is unavailable to Japanese sellers or buyers and most all Japanese sellers on other auction sites will not ship out of country. Fortunately I had a friend who lives there that took time from her schedule to purchase and ship this to me. Will I be able to get more?? I hope, but I need to locate someone who can purchase and ship to me other than my friend. Does anyone else know if this was made by Koransha? The Koransha ones have an olive leaf or orchid flower pattern on the skirts.
