The next pole at the corner. The line turns east for half a block and dead-ends at the transformer pole behind City Hall. Several obvious things provide clues that this pole is also old enough to be an ex- Mountain States pole. The mossy crossarms and the center wire (now the neutral) is dead-ended on a brown spool clevis mounted on the crossarm thru-bolt. An MSP trademark! I feel somewhat unusual since I am likely the only person in town that knows what's going on here and nobody else does. Or even gives a rip, for that matter!
