CD 256 [025] MANHATTAN with the quoted "PATENTED JUNE 17, 1890" patent date. You can see from the picture there are quite a few light amber swirls and some milk in this piece. All of the embossing is clear. There is a small ping at the base of the ear on the MANHATTAN side. The swirls are better on the patent dated side and I prefer displaying the patent dated side so as well so this doesn't bother me. The 2 bubble eyes are pretty cool on the patent side as well. The 120th anniversary of this date is coming up in a few days so I am bargain pricing what should be about a $75-$100 insulator tonight for $45.00 plus shipping.
