This book was published by the Corning Glass Works in 1958 and gives a wonderful history of glass and its different uses. No doubt dated, this little 61 page hardcover book is chock full of information on production methods at Corning and the different products they made at the time. The text alludes to insulator production but there is no direct mention of them that I can see. The cover is slightly worn on the edges but the book is clean and tight otherwise. Also contained in the book is an area map of wineries, a post-card (unused) from the Corning Glass Center, and a brochure of the musuem. This was sold in 2 minutes! Thank you Mark. |
