Went to a local flea market. Met a man (vender #1) that sold all the insulators he had to a man (vender #2)who ran another booth. I checked them out and they were all commons that were marked up to 3-4 dollars each after he paid $1. It was my luck the vendor #1 didn't bring all the insulators he owned. We all know the reason why, right? If you don't the answer is the wieght of carting them around in bulk (Anyone hear this before when talking to venders at flea markets? I know I have). He gave me his phone number and later I made arrangements to go check out what. At his home he had many more common insulators. Roughly around thirty. Like I've said it was my fortune he still had this creb. I've never found any of these Brookfield Crown emossed insulators other then the plan light blue aquas. This one may be aqua but it looks a light green color with some pretty nice amber stringers in the skirt and dome and a couple nice sized bubbles also in the dome. Those stringers could be what makes it look more a light green then aqua. I purchased several other insulators in order to make my traveling expences worth while. 5 all and all. A couple were CD 121 AM TEL & TEL's that were nothing special. One had a #6 SN on the crown and the other was a denver mold. Another was a 133 Brookfield creb and the last a milky 102 patented other. Not bad for $10, aye? |
