Back in 1999, either Antique Weekly or Antique Trader was doing an article on insulators, and somehow they got a hold of me, and I created this collage for them. collage (I bet a web search for "glass insulator" gave me away.. ;-)

It's harder than it looks, as you have to work with each insulator to get pieces of it over some, and under some of the other insulators. You don't want it to look like one insulator is placed on top. This combination of over/under really gives this much more of a 3-D effect.

You also have to add a little "twist" to each one too, as this isn't like rows of soldiers standing in line. But not too much twist otherwise they will look upside down!

I'm not a graphics artist, but I can have fun with insulators!

I'll leave it as an "exercise for the viewer" to name the CD's, colors and embossings ;-) Shouldn't be too hard to get them all. Looks like they are all unique, with the exception of the two colored CD 162's.
