I am very fortunate to have added to my Italian Insulator collection this original early PADERNO Italian insulator dating from 1897. This is the for-runner to all PADERNO's and was used in the earliest large power station on the Adda River in Northern Italy. The voltage rating is 13.5KV for this insulator. This is the medium size version ( both smaller & larger exist). This is a very rare insulator!!!!!!

The designer of this insulator is an Engineer named Semenza. Semenza simply named this insulator "Multiple Little Bells Insulator" and this was the original name.
