One day in a couple months agao when there was a really heat discussion at the forum I had involved myself in I decided to go on a hunt. Not for insulators. I used to hunt along the Hudson River for arrow heads where a battle (war) was fought between the Iroquix and Mochigan indians over territory boundaries. It had been well over twenty years since I had done any hunting at this location. There is water wash way that cut a deep revine down a steep hill that led to the river. I'd known that centuries back homes at the top of the hill used to throw there garbage over the bank or into what became the eroded water way. In the past as today I would grab whatever I could find even if my goal was to find arrow heads. Anyhow, it seemed funny to me at this time I discovered what is pictured in this pic. As far as I know no civil war battles were fought where I live. So it would be highly doubtful that I would have found what I thought this might be at first. Anyone want to guess what it is? It is ceramic (poercellian, mud) and very fancy. At first I thought it was a T _ _ P _ _ insulator. That's all I needed to find at this time. I had been thinking of not ever posting any pic or being involved with Icon any longer at the time. Now that time has gone by I realize I would be both robbing myself and other hunter/ collectors that enjoyed my pic posting and stories. I also enjoy what others post here at Icon myself.
