Just last week Mike Spadafora was visiting and we went out to retrieve some multipart skirts to try to restore a specimen of a rare multipart. We had left them behind on a previous trip as we couldn't carry them along with everything else we found that day. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them! I guess perhaps someone else found them in the meantime and took them??

In any case, our trip took us near the old route of the transcontinental telephone line, so we walked back along the right-of-way. Here is a photo of it as it looks today. This line used CD 208 Hemingray, Brookfield, and Californias, along with CD 141 and other items. [id=276579618]
