Here is a closeup of the 3 different types/styles of 12 used on the 1941 dated, tapered mould Hemingray-12. First top left is all script embossing with straight bar for a l in 12, next, top right is script HEMINGRAY with the 12 stamp embossed ~with~ base seriffed 1,and lastly at bottom is script HEMINGRAY with stamped 12 ~without~ base seriffed 1(note, base of 1 has a small tail on it tho).
