A photo of the marking. These were made by Imperial Porcelain Works for Fred Locke in the late 1890's. Shortly thereafter, he built his own factory and began making his own porcelain. At one time, these were very commonly used on the early lines of this area to supply power to various mines and mining towns. A great relic of the early power development in California!
