Since I wasn't finding anything spectacular, I decide to cut my losses, turn around, and try another potential spot. This railroad was constructed in 1901, and the original telegraph line used aqua and purple 162 Denver products. My hope was to not only find the nice colored McLaughlins, but also a purple Denver. This is a 1920's to 1950's era open wire telephone lead that parallels the railroad. I thought it made a nice artsy shot. |
