Just got around to posting some photos from a late October hunt....

A Sunday commitment in Cloudcroft was the perfect excuse to turn a three day weekend into a insulator hunt/camping trip. Leaving Socorro after Chem Lab on Thursday, I had two days to make the trip to Cloudcroft. Time to slow down and forget school! Usually camping in a truck bed is pretty comfy, but Thursday night proved to be clear and cold. After an eternity of frozen torment, dawn came...and not a moment too soon! After a quick breakfast (lots of hot chocolate!), I made my way out to the hunting grounds. The day was starting out clear and crisp - perfect for insulator hunting!
