German insulators with stripes

They were found in France, but they are Germans (see the shape). During the occupation of France (1940-1944), the German army put aerial lines of telecommunications, along the railway tracks, particularly between Nantes and La Rochelle, because of the building of the Atlantic wall against the eventual landing of Allied armies. These stripes were used to indicate the current carried by the wires. The size is around 3 1/4 x 5 (85 x 130 mm). From left to right: green stripe; green stripe with red lines,; red stripe, yellow stripe, dark blue stripe, blue stripe, yellow inclined stripe. The two with green stripes are well finished, with the head of a mushroom. The others are a slapdash work, with a nearly round head and non glazed paint.
