Cobalt Blue Chamberstick (candle holder) circa 1854

This piece was tucked away in our wall rafters, beneath a window sill. Our home was built in 1852~54.

The chamberstick is cobalt blue with gold flowers; a thin enameled pottery akin to a teacup saucer, with a hole near the bottom of the "stack" where the hot wax could drip out.

No marks or signatures on bottom.

Any information appreciated. I cannot find any books/websites on chambersticks. Please help! David
