This is the first in a series of pictures taken shortly after the Feb JSIC swap concluded. Several collectors met up at my house for an old-fashioned "pole raising party!" Fellow JSIC collector Ken Klein gave me this pole a couple of years ago. It took me all this time to gather crossarms and hardware, dig the pole-hole, treat the base with wood preservative ... and gather sufficient manpower to lug the thing uphill to its new home. It was well worth the wait, as the next series of pictures shall demonstrate! Here is pic #1... as we lift the pole from its resting place.
