I finally snapped a shot of these French bells, which are on a 34.5 kV that runs right down at the end of my neighborhood. I've only lived here for five years. It's about time I finally shoot them. Actually, these are quite common around St. Louis, mostly dating from the late 1960s and early 1970s. The six inch version was also used quite a bit around here. If these ever get replaced, I'd certainly invite the crew to go right up the street and dump all the spoils in my yard. 2/18/2010.
